Personal Photos from the Katy Perry Witness Tour Concert 2018 in Sydney

Last Friday night a girl friend and I went to the Katy Perry Witness Tour Concert in Sydney Olympic Park, at the Qudos Bank Arena.

I had booked our seats not exactly realizing they were as close to the stage as what they were... we were only three rows away from the small stage area, so it was pretty exciting to be so close!!!

Here are a few photos I took with my iPhone from the night...

Katy Perry entered the stage on a floating star. Quite fitting really!

This concert reminded me of the Kylie Minogue concert I watched years ago, mainly due to the screen behind, and the floating objects that Katy Perry seemed to float in on. It’s still a good thing- I really enjoyed that Kylie show!!! I really enjoyed this one too!!! But I guess nothing particularly surprised me (except for the fact that we were so close, which was awesome!!!).

Ticket tape exploded from above our heads three times throughout the concert so by the end we were covered in it and so were our bags!

I loved the costumes, the background images, the music. It was loads of fun! Definitely a great night out!

I was very surprised by how many children were in the audience though, I would say some were as young as 6 or 8 years old. I didn’t really realize how many young kids loved Katy Perry!

I am always in total amazement of every entertainers energy though! The lead star, the dancers- I honestly don’t know how they keep doing it night after night, using up all of that energy and being able to keep going. The show was two hours, and Katy and the dancers had a break here and there but mainly they were constantly going.

I did expect more people to get dressed up. After all, this is Katy Perry- the queen of kitsch, glitter and colour, right? But hardly anyone did, which was a bit disappointing. However, that of course didn’t stop me! I made sure I wore something very bright, colourful, and out there, and of course, all of my designs!

My friend, Leanne likes to wear black to concerts, and these Penelope Red black pants and black top had a bit of colour and glitz too.

All in all, it was a great night out. Katy performed for two hours straight, performing her new album, as well as most of the hits. The two songs that I was missing, “Happy Birthday” and “This is how we do” I would’ve liked to have had them included but it was fine. There were plenty of other hits.

Also Zedd performed beforehand, and I really like his music too, so I was very happy with the night.

Returning home was another story!!! City rail needs to up thier game!!!
