An example of some of the projects you could possibly complete together with Penelope’s one on one guidance:

• Getting to know your machine

• Step by step how to cut out and follow a paper pattern

• A piece of clothing or design like a dress or jumpsuit, or a skirt or blouse

• Craft projects such as a cot quilt, cushions or quilt cover

• Potentially how to make slight alterations on your pattern

• A fitted design that is tailored to you

• Or some have chosen to use the time getting to know their machine while mending and altering a pile of clothing that has been on their “to do” list for a while- the choice is yours!

Portable private lessons with Penelope are available in the inner Sydney Metropolitan area, which includes the following:

• Eastern Suburbs

• South: as far as Hurstville

• North: as far as Chatswood

• West: as far as Flemington

(We can discuss materials/tools needed, as we progress. Some materials will be provided, and some tools, especially for beginners, so you won’t need to worry for your first lesson.)

Flexible hours and times are available with a bit of notice, which can be arranged once payment is made. Typically all day Mondays, all day Tuesday and Tuesday nights, Friday nights, Saturdays are currently available upon request. Other days/times would need to be negotiated/arranged more in advance.
